St. George

This past week we went to St. George to hang out with Des, T.C and some people from the Czech Republic from his mission. It was a lot of fun, and Casey and Sydney were nice enough to let us stay at their place and we got to hang out with them as well.

On Wednesday we went to Zions. The last time I went was probably when I was a teenager so it had been a while. It's so beautiful there and it's so diverse; you can see the big, beautiful red rock mountains and on the other hand you can also see a lot of greenery. My favorite place for sure was the Emerald Pools. We had a good time with everyone. Poor Kyle was hiking with Nash the whole day without a backpack to carry him so he definitely got a good arm workout. Nash did really good the whole day (besides the fact that his hat kept blowing off of his head because it was too big). That evening we had a barbeque with everyone. Shelby came over with a guy she was dating also and everyone had a good game of silent marco polo. The game got pretty intense, and I have a couple battle wounds from running into the sides of the pool lol I swear I can't play a game without getting hurt. But it was a lot of fun!

Thursday we went shopping and pretty much just relaxed and hung out by the pool during the day. At night Kyle, me, Casey, and Sydney played tennis. Besides the fact that I'm terrible at sports it was pretty fun. Kyle was good at couching me.

Friday we went swimming some more and just soaked up the sun. In the afternoon we went golfing at Red Hills golf course (where Casey works). Thanks to Casey we got the hook ups to get in free! I think out of all the sports, golf is one that I could maybe get good at. Golf is the best! By the end of the day everyone except Kyle was sunburned. Then we went out to eat at Osaka. It had been too long since my last sushi fix and it definitely hit the spot! Kyle is not a fan of sea food, so I was proud of him for trying some of my sushi.

Saturday morning Sydney made us a good breakfast and we hit the road. It was SO nice to get out of the house and have a little get away for a couple days. Thanks to Des and T.C we had an excuse to do it!
